Solidarity In Times of Calamity
Situated in the ring of fire, Surigao City is no stranger to super typhoons and calamities.
When Typhoon Odette struck the Philippines last December 2021, Surigao City was one of the most affected provinces. The lack of media attention at that time due to month long blackouts and network outages left the community in a state of ruins.
Several families lost their homes and access to clean, potable water became scarce.
Through our own efforts and despite a temporary halt in operations, the Kherk Roldan SEO team distributed food, clothing, and emergency supplies to those in need.
